Scheduling Your Knowledge Test

Richland

Knowledge Tests are administered during the scheduled session only. If you cannot test during a scheduled session, please call us at 509-371-0888 and we will attempt to fit you in when our office is staffed. You may sign up and pay on-line or you may walk in to take the test. Only cash will be accepted from walk-in customers.

Walla Walla

Tests are administered at the Walla Walla Community College Testing Center and are given by appointment only. Pre-registration is required! Walk in testing is not accepted! You must sign up and pay the MTI testing fee of $15.00. You will receive an email verifying you were successfully registered for the session. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check you SPAM or junk folder. If it is not there, call us at 509-371-0888.

Once you sign up for a session, you must call the Walla Walla Community College Testing Center at 509-527-4267 and make an appointment with the Testing Center. Do not show up without calling the Testing Center and scheduling your appointment!

When you arrive at the Testing Center, your ID will be verified, an additional  fee will be collected by the Testing Center for the use of the Testing Center services. This is a fee is established by the college and is in addition to the $15.00 testing fee charged by MTI.

You will be required to store all personal belongings, including, but not limited to: cell phones, tablets, books, notebooks or any other item the Testing Center staff deems inappropriate, in a secured locker prior to entering the testing area.

The Testing Center staff are not instructors and are not qualified to answer questions or discuss the contents of the test. If you fail to achieve a passing score, the staff will give you a Question Reference sheet explaining the questions missed along with the pages the question is based on in the Motorcycle Operators Manual. The staff cannot discuss questions, answers or give study guidance beyond the Question Reference sheet.

If you do not achieve a passing score, you must sign up on line to retake the Knowledge Test during a different session. Retakes are not allowed the same day at the Testing Center.
