Single Session Knowledge/Skills Testing

The following sessions are offered for testing:

1.Single Session All Test: In this session, all 4 tests required to obtain your full endorsement are offered. This session is for those who have not taken and passed their Learners Permit Tests, and want to take all 4 in the same session.

 2. Single Session Permit Testing: In this session, both the Permit Skills and Permit Knowledge Test will be administered. This session is for those who have not taken a class and want to challenge both the Permit Knowledge Test and the Permit Skills Test. You must visit the DOL in person or online to have your permit added within 180 of your testing date.

 3. Single Session Endorsement Testing: In this session both the Endorsement Knowledge Test and the Endorsement Skills Test will be offered. You must be in possession of a valid permit, or your permit scores must be valid prior to registering for this session. It is your responsibility to make sure you qualify for the Endorsement Testing.

Remember, you must complete the endorsement process which includes successfully completing the endorsement tests and visiting the DOL in person or online, and having them add your endorsement within 180 days of completing your permit tests or prior to your permit expiring!

We highly recommend you complete your testing and visit the DOL with at least two weeks leeway prior to your scores or permit expiring. This allows for scheduling a retest if necessary. If your permit or scores expire, the DOL will not extend your time and you will have to start the process over again!

If you do not wish to take the Knowledge and Skills test in the same session, do not sign up for a Single Session test. Please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to schedule individual tests.

Be sure you signing up for the appropriate session! Only the tests listed will be administered during the session!

As with all 3rd party testing you must prepare yourself and provide a motorcycle for the test. You must make legal arrangements to get your motorcycle to our facilities for the testing session. You are not exempt from any permit / endorsement requirements while traveling to or from our facility.

The fee paid for the session will allow you two opportunities to pass each test. Based on time and performance,
you may not be able to complete all tests in this session if you fail a test. Retest on the skills test will not be given if the reason for your failure is a crash or drop, or if you exhibit unsafe behavior.

Late arrivals and drop in testers will not be accomodated. You must register on-line.

Testing will start at the time indicated. This means that you must arrive early enough to unload your motorcycle if you truck or trailer to our facility and have adequate time (about 10 minutes) to complete all the required paperwork and waivers.  Due to liability issues, MTI Staff are not allowed to assist you in unloading or loading your motorcycle.

Doors will open about 30 minutes prior to the session start time. The Instructions for the test will be read promptly at the session start time. Late arrivals will not be accomodated.

Our staff will add your scores to the Department of Licensing record within 3 business days after test completion,  beginning on the 1st business day after your test. For instance if you test on a Thursday, your scores will be added by the end of business Tuesday.

Your score will be valid for 180 days after the completion of the test you take. You must add the permit or endorsement within 180 days of your testing date. Please visit https://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/motoendorsement.html to visit the DOL page explaining the process.

We DO NOT add your permit or endorsement.

Those who successfully complete the levels of testing must complete the process by visiting the Department of Licensing in person or on-line at www.dol.wa.gov in order to add the permit or endorsement.  You are not legal to ride until you visit the Department of Licensing on line or in person and complete the process.
