What is Needed to Pass

While our instructors will work with you so you have the best opportunity to pass, not every rider passes the tests or demonstrates the skills to complete the class. We do not guarantee success, but will do our best to help you succeed.

Some riders find it necessary to retake the class, retake the test (You get two free attempts) or opt for additional training prior to re-testing.

You must be on time and present the entire time that class is conducted. Missing any portion of the class will be cause for dismissal. All the courses emphasize the risks involved with riding a motorcycle and these risks are also present while a student practices riding during the course. Students who do not meet the minimum exercise objectives, who are unable to keep pace with the cirriculum, who pose a hazard to themselves or others, or drop the bike, or fail to respond to coaching may be dismissed from the class by the instructor. Students who do not bring the required riding gear will also be dismissed from class.

You may also choose to self drop if you do not feel comfortable or feel you are not able to safely control the motorcycle, or are not keeping pace with the cirriculum. If you exit the class early there will be no refunds and no rescheduling without a fee.

You must take and pass a Knowledge Test (Even if you took the test prevoiusly!) and a Skills Test.

In any case, please talk with your instructor to explore your options to obtain your endorsement. We have several options ranging from  a Kick Start class, private ride time or a retake of the BRC at a reduced rate.
